Quick help
Start with the most common fixes.
Most widget issues are resolved by opening RatePeek once while connected and confirming the active trip.
A widget says “Open app to load rate”
Open RatePeek while connected, select the same currency pair in Convert or activate the matching trip, and wait for the rate to appear. The cached rate then becomes available to the widget.
The widget asks me to set up a trip
Open the Travel tab and create or activate a trip. Every RatePeek widget follows the active trip automatically.
My widget has not updated yet
Open RatePeek to confirm the current rate and active trip. If iOS still shows older content, remove the widget and add it again. Widget refresh timing is ultimately managed by iOS.
Can RatePeek convert while offline?
Yes, after that currency pair has loaded successfully at least once. RatePeek keeps the last successful reference rate and clearly labels cached or offline results.
Why does my bank show a different amount?
RatePeek displays informational reference rates. Banks, cards, ATMs, and exchange providers may use different effective dates and add spreads, commissions, or fees.
How do I restore Premium?
Open RatePeek Settings, choose Premium, and use Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple Account that originally purchased the upgrade.
